Pepsi in legal battle with Jackky Bhagnani's Youngistaan
Jackky Bhagnani has been caught up in a legal complaint over the title of new film Youngistaan. Soft drink makers Pepsi has said that it owns the copyright of the title from an earlier advertising campaign.
The company claimed that the name was registered to a campaign run by Pepsi six years ago, which starred Shah Rukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor.
A source close to the production house has responded to the allegations by saying that the title was acquired in a legal manner.
Bhagnani stars opposite Neha Sharma in the project, described as a love story set against India's present day political scenario.
Boman Irani also plays a pivotal role in the upcoming movie.
Youngistaan is scheduled to release on March 28.
